New and Expecting Parents

Overview

Pregnancy, postpartum, and the new lives of parents are challenging (and joyous!) for everyone. When you have ADHD, all of it can be even more intense.

Here are just a few of the reasons ADHD creates extra challenges in this time:

  • Dramatic hormone changes during pregnancy and postpartum significantly impact ADHD symptoms
  • Planning and preparing for a baby requires a lot of executive function, which is impaired in ADHD
  • Limited working memory in ADHD makes it extra hard to keep up with increased mental load
  • All of the strategies and routines used to manage ADHD suddenly have to be changed
  • Emotion dysregulation in ADHD can make the ups & downs more extreme

I want to help you navigate these major changes with confidence and self-compassion.

Services

In our Discovery Call, we will discuss what approach will support you the most.

I offer standard Adult coaching for individuals and couples (including non-ADHD partners), which allows you to schedule one session at a time as it fits your schedule. I do recommend booking multiple sessions.

Alternatively, we can create a unique package with a series of recurring sessions and/or text support in between.
